In August 2006, thanks to the generosity and volunteerism of many, the historic Colonial Theatre located in the heart of downtown Pittsfield, Massachusetts re-opened its doors in its newly renovated and exquisitely beautiful space.
The Colonial offers year-round enriching, educational and inspiring entertainment to people of all ages and backgrounds. From family fun shows and first-class comedy and music, to opera and young artist classical performances to singer/songwriter tributes and international offerings that open new doors for understanding and appreciating our world – there is truly something for everyone.

Membership income is a critical component for success. Ticket sales and rental income cover just over half of the expenses associated with operating and programming the Colonial. Your membership support helps to sustain the Colonial’s day to day operations, keeping it alive, active and ensuring its long term viability for future generations.
